ABOUT THE PUBLICATION

A local starting point.

Long Island Ratings helps readers build a practical shortlist of businesses serving Nassau and Suffolk County.

What you will find here

Our guides compare published services, explain what to ask before hiring, and make it easier to explore home-service and business-marketing options. The publication begins with handyman services, spray foam insulation, and AI search companies.

Who writes the guides

Guides are published under Long Island Ratings Editorial. Our ranking rubric considers public customer feedback, broader online sentiment, relevant expertise, local coverage, and transparency. Company profiles summarize published service information. We do not claim hands-on testing or invent reviewers, qualifications, review counts, or test results.

Every position is earned

No company pays for inclusion or a ranking position. MooseRank, Blue Whale Handyman, and Score Spray Foam are the top editorial picks in their respective guides. Every listed company is held to the same ranking criteria; first place is not a featured or sponsored slot.
